Taylormade R11 Driver Review
The new Taylormade R11 driver has many new technologies that are pretty amazing. The first is “Flight Control Technology”. FCT allows the golfer to control the loft degree on the driver. The R11 comes with 8 different settings giving you each +/- 1 degree loft change. This feature is nice if you are unsure of the degree face you would like on your driver.
The second feature is the “Moveable weight technology”. MWT allows you to adjust the trajectory of your ball left or right up to 25 yards. This feature is nice if you looking to add a fade or a draw into the natural flight of your ball.
The third and final feature of the driver is the “Adjustable sole technology”. There is three different setting, Neutral, Open, or Closed. If the driver is set to open or closed you can expect a +/- 2 degree difference on the face-angle of the driver. This feature has been around for awhile but is still nice if you still struggling with a slice or hook off the tee.
I have just tested the R11 driver and I “Crushed” the golf ball. Not only did I hit my drives further, but i hit my drives much straighter. I cannot wait to get fitted for the R11 and have it set up specifically to my swing. Another friend of mine stated that the R11 driver created “distance he could not duplicate”. Along with distance it also is very consistent and accurate which is great for when you need a little forgiveness. Like all Taylormade golf clubs, this club is a easy swinger; the club has pop and sounds great. This club was really designed for big hitters. Some golfers are stating that you can really, “attack the ball without fear of hooking it”. To go along with this great feeling club, the club looks really sharp with a nice white and red finish.
